Linguistic Comparison: Kannada (Dravidian) and Hindi (Devanagari)
While Kannada uses a rounded Kadamba-derived Brahmi script and belongs to the Southern Dravidian family, Hindi uses the linear Devanagari script belonging to the Indo-Aryan family. Interestingly, both languages share the Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) grammatical structure, making direct word-by-word sentence alignment much more intuitive compared to English.
